神筆馬良的故事（中英雙譯）

　　There was once a boy called MaLiang. His family was very poor, sopoor that he couldn’t afford a writing brush. One day on his way home afterherding the cattle, he passed by a private school. He saw a painter waspainting for an officer. MaLiang lost himself and he walked quickly. He said tothe officer, “Could you give me one writing brush to draw pictures?” The officerand the painter laughed at him and drove him out.

　　從前，有個(gè)男孩子叫馬良，馬良的家非常的窮，窮得連一只筆都買(mǎi)不起。一天他放羊回家，經(jīng)過(guò)一個(gè)私塾，他看見(jiàn)一個(gè)花匠在給官員畫(huà)畫(huà)，馬良失神的很快走進(jìn)去了，他跟師傅說(shuō)：“你能借一支筆給我畫(huà)畫(huà)嗎?”官人和畫(huà)家嘲笑了他還把他趕了出去。

　　MaLiang didn’t admit defeat. After that he began to learn to draw byheart. When he went to cut wood fire on the mountain, he would draw with abranch on land. When he went to cut grass by the river, he would draw the fishwith the gram root. He drew whatever he saw.

　　馬良不怕失敗，后來(lái)他開(kāi)始用心的學(xué)習(xí)畫(huà)畫(huà)，當(dāng)他去山里砍柴，他就用樹(shù)枝在地上畫(huà)畫(huà)，當(dāng)他去河邊，他就用稻草稈畫(huà)魚(yú)，他見(jiàn)什么就畫(huà)什么。

　　Time passed by quickly and his drawing was better and better. Butstill he had no writing brush. How he wished he had a writing brush!

　　日子過(guò)得飛快，馬良畫(huà)得越來(lái)越好了，但他還是一直畫(huà)筆都沒(méi)有，他多希望自己有一只畫(huà)筆啊。

　　Then one night in his dreams an old man gave him a writing brush.The old man told him to draw for the poor. MaLiang took the brush quickly anddrew a cock on the wall, the cock was then alive, it jumped down from the wall.It was a magical writing brush. He began to draw for the poor with it everyday. What he drew all came true. He drew farm cattle for a farmer and it couldplough for him. The officer heard of that and had some soldiers seized him tothe officer. He told MaLiang to draw gold for him. MaLiang refused to draw forhim, so he was put into prison. At midnight, the guard was fast asleep. Maliangtook his brush, drew a door on the wall. When he pulled it the door opened.Then he began to run off with the other prisoners. Then the guards ran afterhim. Then he drew a horse and rode on it, the guards could not catch up withhim at all.

　　然后，有一天，有位老人子啊夢(mèng)中給了他一只筆，老人告訴他去為窮人畫(huà)畫(huà)。馬良快速接過(guò)了筆，在墻上畫(huà)了只公雞，公雞就活了，從墻上跳下來(lái)咯咯咯的叫。原來(lái)是一支神筆，于是他每天都去給窮人畫(huà)畫(huà)，所有畫(huà)得東西都變成了真的，他給農(nóng)民畫(huà)了牛和犁。官員聽(tīng)了，于是派兵去抓馬良。他跟馬良說(shuō)，給他畫(huà)點(diǎn)金子，馬良拒絕了，于是馬良被關(guān)進(jìn)了大牢，有天晚上，獄卒睡著了，馬良就拿出筆在墻上畫(huà)了個(gè)門(mén)，他一推，門(mén)就開(kāi)了，于是他就跟其它坐牢的人逃走了。守衛(wèi)就去追，于是馬良畫(huà)了匹馬，騎馬跑了，守衛(wèi)根本就追不上他。

　　Then one day Maliang was drawing a water cart in a dry place, suddenlyseveral official guards appeared and seized him away. This time the officertold him to draw a gold mountain. MaLiang drew a sea and a gold mountain in thesea. It was full of gold on the mountain. The officer was pleased and cried, “Be quick,draw a big ship. I want to ship gold from the mountain.”

　　有一天，馬良在干旱的地方畫(huà)了一個(gè)水車(chē)，突然，幾個(gè)官家守衛(wèi)出來(lái)把他抓走了。這次官員告訴他，讓他畫(huà)一座金山，馬良畫(huà)了一片海，金山在海里。山上全是金子，官員十分高興，道：“快給我畫(huà)一艘大船，我要去取山上運(yùn)金子�！�

　　Then MaLiang drew a big ship. The officer together with his guardsgot on the ship and said, “Set off. Be quick.” MaLiang then drew some wind. The sail was full and the ship wassailing to the mountain at sea. The officer wanted to be faster. So MaLiangadded some more strong winds. The officer became afraid and said, “That’s enough.That’s enough. No more wind.” But MaLiang didn’t listen tohim ,he went on drawing wind. Now it was blowing more violently. And the waveswere as high as mountains. Then the ship was turned over and the officer andhis guards were drowned in the sea.

　　于是，馬良畫(huà)了一艘大船，官員和守衛(wèi)一起上了船，說(shuō)到“出發(fā)，快點(diǎn)�！庇谑邱R良就畫(huà)了一點(diǎn)風(fēng)，船滿(mǎn)帆而行，去往海里的山上。官員嫌慢，要求速度快點(diǎn)，于是馬良就加了幾筆強(qiáng)風(fēng)，官員開(kāi)始害怕說(shuō)：“夠了，夠了，不要風(fēng)了�！瘪R良不停他的，他還是接著畫(huà)風(fēng)，現(xiàn)在風(fēng)很強(qiáng)，浪打得和山頭一樣高了，于是翻船了，官員和守衛(wèi)都淹死在海里了。

　　MaLiang came back to the village and drew for the poor again.

　　馬良回到山村，又開(kāi)始為窮人畫(huà)畫(huà)。
