The Strategies of Metaphor translation in Yang Xianyi English version of The True Story of Ah Q

This essay takes Yang xianyi's English version of the true story of Ah Q as a sample, giving a summary on the strategies when dealing with the images in metaphor translation. The SL culture-orientated translation principles and methods play a major role in introducing the Chinese culture to the world.
